Assign Skype Name to Memory Dialer Contacts

To assign Skype Name to a new Memory Dialer Contact, perform the following steps:

1. Click the Start Call button on the left side of an empty Memory Dialer cell (Memory Dialer cell – component part of the Memory Dialer pad, designed for storing and managing all Contact information), the arrow button  next to the Level (Level – a certain phone number – Business, Business 2, Mobile or Home – assigned to one of the fields in Memory Dialer cell), or right-click the empty cell and select “Create New Contact…” from the drop-down menu.

2. Select the “Skype™” tab on “Memory Dialer – Create New Contact” form and enter Skype Name(s) of the current Contact in the appropriate field(s) of this form.

3. Right-click on the newly created Contacts, or click the arrow button next to the Level, point to “First Messenger” or “Second Messenger” and select “Skype” on the drop-down menu. The First Messenger icon is displayed on the top left side of a Memory Dialer cell once it has been enabled, and the Second Messenger icon – on the bottom left side.

In order to assign Skype Name(s) to an existing Memory Dialer Contact (Memory Dialer Contact – a contact assigned to a Memory Dialer cell. Memory Dialer Contact information includes Name details (First Name, Last Name and Nickname), Phone numbers (Business, Business 2, Mobile and Home), and also Skype Name(s) and MSN/Windows Messenger ID),

1. Right-click on the selected Contact, or click the arrow button next to the Level, point to “First Messenger” or “Second Messenger” and select “Skype” on the drop-down menu.

2. Right-click the Skype status icon displayed next to the Memory Dialer Contact and select "Assign Skype Name..." on the shortcut menu (Shortcut menu - a menu that shows a list of commands relevant to a particular item. To display a shortcut menu, right-click an item).

3. Enter Skype Name(s) of the current Contact in the appropriate field(s) of the “Memory Dialer – Assign Skype™ Name” form.

If the entered Skype Name does not belong to your Skype Contacts list yet, click the Add to Skype… button to add this Name to your Skype Contacts list and enable communication with this Contact using Skype™.

Note: When the entered Skype Name already belongs to your Skype Contacts list, Add to Skype… button is disabled.
